Description

It is about the energy rehabilitation of the house of a young couple whose needs go through the updating and modernization of spaces and the improvement in energy efficiency and the comfort of their home. The complete insulation of enclosures (SATE system), roofing (blowing of cellulose) and pavement (insulation of extruded wood fiber) is designed as an improvement of the building envelope, and the carpentry is also renewed for high efficiency ones.

The only heating system is a wood-burning fireplace and a ventilation system with heat recovery that acts as an extractor and with very low consumption. These solutions, together with other bioclimatic criteria of solar protection through a porch, allow energy self-sufficiency in air conditioning under the Passive House standard and an optimum air quality in the home that enables a healthy environment.
