Last Friday, June 29, the opening ceremony of the new ITRS office in Malaga was held. It counted on the presence of the Counselor of Employment, Company and Commerce

The ITRS technology company, specialized in intelligent monitoring systems for the financial sector, reinforces its investment strategy in Spain and definitely bets on Malaga as a center for the development of its products. The new office is located in the center of Málaga, in Plaza de la Solidaridad, next to the Maria Zambrano railway station and replaces it with a larger space, tripling its surface and improving the infrastructure with respect to the former ITRS headquarters, present in Our city since March 2015 when the company opened its branch in Spain.
ITRS is a technological multinational of British origin specialized in the creation of intelligent monitoring computer systems for the financial sector, assisting with its advanced technology to large investment banks, stock exchanges and hedge funds among others. With headquarters in London and more than twenty years of experience, ITRS also has offices in New York, Hong Kong, Manila and Singapore.
The decision to move the office from its former location in the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía (PTA) to the city center is in line with the company’s strategy of locating its offices in central locations in the cities where it has a presence. Although the PTA was an excellent place to locate the first research and development center of the company in Spain, with the support of the management of the park, the City Council and the Junta de Andalucía, the company’s continuous growth in our country has made necessary to search for a larger, better equipped and better place
quality of communications.
The company is committed to a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, which is why it has wanted to give its employees the option to access their jobs using public transport, by bicycle or even by walking. Likewise, the change has allowed creating a multipurpose space to provide training, conferences and meetings with the aim of bringing closer and strengthening the exchange between the technological communities of Málaga. In fact, the space hosted the first meetup of web application developers on June 28.
With this change, ITRS consolidates its investment strategy and job creation in our country, taking advantage of local talent and contributing to the growth of the city and its citizens.
